SERVICE OPTIONS
Option 1: Full Turn-Key Interior Design (this is generally for clients who are building or renovating)
(A) – This is a full turn-key service, which includes a general rough concept. Upon approval of the concept we do a basic furniture layout, followed by an electrical, lighting and bulkhead or ceiling layout based on the furniture layout. We include bathroom layouts as well as all the sanitary and brassware requirements. We include all floor, wall and joinery requirements and consult with any shop fitting or kitchen companies as required, based on PC sums given by the client. This includes a full colour scheme for the shell of the house with a specification document that can be given to the project manager or builder for reference on site. We also include site visits in this option to monitor progress and that everything on site corresponds with what has been designed. Once the shell is approved based on the initial concept we proceed with the soft furnishing requirements, this includes a full presentation and quotation on all furniture, window treatments, art and accessories. The next step in this full design option is for the client to accept the quote (or make changes as necessary) – in this option we offer project management of the interior on a percentage of our quote, which will include ordering of all fabrics, furniture, accessories, art and any installations required.
The benefit of this service is that you as the client can simply walk in after completion and live in your home. Here you will also have one point of contact being the designer and any issues will be directed at one person instead of trying to figure out what you ordered from where, and dealing with a number of contacts to get one issue sorted out.
(B) – This service only includes the fixed finishes of the space, so here we will only include a basic furniture layout in order to complete an electrical, lighting and bulkhead or ceiling layout based on the furniture layout. We include bathroom layouts as well as all the sanitary and brassware requirements. We include all floor, wall and joinery requirements and consult with any shop fitting or kitchen companies as required, based on PC amounts given to us by the client. This includes a full colour scheme for the shell of the house with a specification document that can be given to the project manager or builder for reference on site. We can also include site visits in this option to monitor progress and that everything on site corresponds with what has been designed.
No final furnishings, window treatments or quotation on furnishings are included in this option.
Option 2: Full Decorating (this is generally for existing spaces or spaces that the client has already selected finishes for)
(A) – Here we will generally do a site inspection for existing homes or request a list of finishes and final shell look of the home from the client. Based on this we will do a furniture layout, as well as a full interior presentation with furniture requirements, fabrics, window treatments, joinery, feature walls, artwork and accessories as well as a full quotation for all the items. The next step is for the client to approve the quotation, thereafter we manage the project of all the items on our quote. This includes ordering and coordination of all the items on the quote: we manage all the deliveries from respective suppliers, make sure the final look is achieved and all the items are placed in the correct positions on the day of installation.
The benefit of this service is that you as the client can simply walk in after completion and live in your home. Here you will also have one point of contact being the designer and any issues will be directed at one person instead of trying to figure out what you ordered from where, and dealing with a number of contacts to get one issue sorted out.
(B) – Another option is that we can provide the same service as decorating (A) except we will just provide you with the full presentation and quotation and you may choose to purchase the items yourself based on the presentation provided. Alternatively you may choose which items you would like to purchase through us, and do the rest yourself.
Option 3: Consultation (for those clients who wish to do it themselves and need advice)
For this option we charge an hourly consultation fee where we will meet with the client at the specific site and give educated advice as to how they can achieve the look they require. This option does not include hard copy design plans or quotations, unless the client specifically requests a quotation on a specific item.
Option 4: Assisted Shop
With this flat day rate option we will assist you with shopping for your interior space. We will meet you in the morning and do a basic design consultation on site, thereafter together will go to relevant suppliers where we can look at or buy items for the space. You can choose to purchase the items directly from the suppliers on the day or do so at a later stage. We will be along for the ride to guide you and advise you through the process in terms of size and style of items for your space.
Option 5: Curtains and Blinds
We can quote for window finishes, supply and installation as we have accounts with all the major fabric houses and blind suppliers. As an added bonus we can recommend the best option for your space that will look good and have the correct practical application.
Value Added Extras (these can be added to any of the services above)
3D Renderings: This will show the interior space in its three dimensionality — two views per room — based on approved concepts and furniture layouts.
Site Visits: If not quoted for within your design option, add the option of a site visit to make sure all is going according to plan.
Project Management: If not quoted for within your design option, add the option of a Project Management.
